Ways in which collaboration can take place in special education include a student’s annual IEP meeting or amendment meetings, between the special education teacher and general education teacher during weekly meetings, case manager check-ins to all the student’s teachers and family, staff/teacher meetings, teacher and family, etc.  The possibilities are truly endless.
